History: Manor Athletic were formed in 1968, and became a force in the South Wirral League for a number of years until gaining West Cheshire status in 1991. The winning of the South Wirral Premier Division title, and the Bill Johnson Bowl in the same season 1990/91, enabled them to achieve the Senior status that they had striven for since their formation. Manor have also had some success at veteran football, with the over Forty side reaching Wembley a few years ago.   Although the introduction to West Cheshire football has been a difficult one the team and committee continue to work hard and gained promotion to Division Two in season 2001/2002.
